Basic training classes

Overview: Basic training is mandatory for all new users wishing to access the BD analysers (CANTO/Fortessa/Symphony).
Content: The session consists of an introduction to flow cytometry followed by a practical hands on training session on the instruments.
Frequency: Classes will be held on a Friday once every month from 10.00 to 14.30 (30 minute break – please bring your own lunch)
Cost and eligibility: Basic training is available as fee for service and is open to internal users only.
Location: 15th floor, Tower Wing, Guy’s Hospital
Class size: Classes are limited to eight participants.

- 16 November
- 14 December
Important for new users
Please complete the following steps to sign up for the core before you come to training.
- register with iLabs(steps 1 and 2)
- Request training via ilabs: Go to “request services”, choose “5.1 Basic Training” and submit to core. We will sign you onto the next available course/the date of your choice
- Please submit a completed Flow core registration form to :BRCFlowCore.
