Bioinformatics advice is available to our BRC scientists through an appointment system.

Our bioinformatics group is focused on the analysis of complex integrated clinical and genomics data sets, including:

  • DNA (NGS sequencing and SNP/CGH microarrays)

  • Gene expression (RNA-seq and microarrays)

  • Protein-DNA binding (e.g. ChIP-seq)

  • DNA methylation

  • Pathway analysis

We provide support around the following areas:

  • Analysis, visualisation and interpretation of complex genomics data sets

  • Identification of therapeutic targets and disease biomarkers

  • Development of automated computational workflow

  • Data management and integration

  • Study design

  • Software and database development
