Do you have experience of using women's health services? Do you want to influence the women's health research we do at our BRC?

The Women’s Health Research Patient and Public Involvement Group is the ideal platform for you to get involved in women’s health research.

The group was set up in 2013 by the Women’s Health Academic Centre, our BRC and the Comprehensive Local Research Network.

Membership is made up of women and their partners who collectively serve as a research advisory group for women’s health.

They provide input and advice on current and future research studies across our university and hospitals.

While the group is currently focusing on preterm birth research, we plan to expand to include other topics such as pre-eclampsia and other medical problems in pregnancy.

We also want feedback on how we can improve our clinical services to best meet the needs of the couples using them.
