If you are affected by diabetes, sharing your experiences could help shape research into the condition.

The South London Diabetes Patient Involvement Group enables people with diabetes and their relatives to get involved in diabetes research in South London and is always looking for new members.

The group usually has around three annual meetings, providing an opportunity to hear first-hand about current and upcoming diabetes research.

Group members also have the opportunity to comment on the research and to specify the type of research they would like to see happen locally. They are also given access to research training.

The group was set up with a grant from the Research Design Service and is now supported by our local Research Network.
