We regularly run events which give school students the chance to take part in activities based on science and health research.
These activities are hosted at locations by professionals across King’s Health Partners.
By working across the university and hospitals we are able to showcase the interaction between science and medicine while providing fun and interesting activities that relate to real life
Clinical Research Facility open days
The Clinical Research Facilities at Guys and St Thomas’ Hospitals are where patients come that are taking part in a clinical trial. Our Open Days offer students a range of activities and interactive demonstrations around clinical care and special biomedical testing used in healthcare research to help develop and try out new therapies.
Researcher school visits
Scientific researchers from the Biomedical Research Centre are keen to inspire and encourage the next generation of healthcare scientists. Some of our researchers are trained to give interactive talks and demonstrations at your school.
We also run a week long Summer School programme every year. This year’s event will run in August. For more information and photos of last year’s school click here.
