All users of the Flow Cytometry Core facility must attend basic training prior to obtaining login credentials on the BD core analysers.
Classes will be held on a Friday once every month from 10am to 2pm on 15th floor of Guy's Tower and consist of a basic introduction into flow cytometry followed by a hands on demonstration on the instruments. Class size is limited to 8 participants. Basic training will be charged at £100 per trainee.

Training on advanced analysers
All users of advanced special analysers must obtain training on the respective platform prior to first use. For the Amnis ImageStreamX and the Luminex FlexMAP3D users will obtain instrument specific training before independent use, CyTOF users will obtain training in the technology and antibody labelling. Luminex and CyTOF training are arranged on an individual basis until further notice.
In 2013 we will start offering training for the Amins ImageStream on a monthly basis. It is essential that users have a good grasp of basic flow cytometry before attending this advanced training course, basics will not be covered in this class. Training will be held monthly on a Monday from 10 am to 1.30 pm on 15th floor of Guy's Tower. Class size is limited to 6 participants. Image Stream training will be charged at £100 per trainee.
